At the meeting of the ForWind executive board on November 7, 2019, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Astrid Nieße from the Leibniz University Hannover was welcomed as a new member of ForWind. Nieße is head of the Energy Informatics working group at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Her research complements the broad spectrum of engineering and physical research in the field of wind energy within ForWind. Thus, a total of
31 working groups and institutes of the universities of Oldenburg, Hanover and Bremen are currently members of ForWind.
